Every Mother deserves a Mother's Day

It feels like I've been a mother since the beginning of time yet it seems like just yesterday I gave birth to my first child. Mother's Day is my holiday. I wished that I could wake up to an immaculately clean house, all kids were on mute for the day and meals would prepare themselves. Just for one day. Since that will never happen I accept gifts instead.

Last Mother's Day I was blessed with the Mercedes of sewing machines.

I love her with all my heart and if anyone in my house touches her there is a price to pay. She is why I get to sew my heart out nearly every day. 

THIS Mother's Day I am on to something new. The hints have been dropped. I'm now counting the days. 4 days, 5 hours, 26 minutes and 11 seconds to be exact. 

My soon to be new love-The Sillouette Cameo. I can't wait to have her in my arms. I dream of her nightly. The places we could go. The parties we could decorate. The fabric we could cut. Sigh. 

The only thing left to do is cross your fingers I actually get one!
